MENGELOLA SAYUR ORGANIK PEKARANGAN DENGAN PUPUK ORGANIK DAN PESTISIDA DARI REMPAH DAPUR DI DESA SIBALANGA ADIANKOTING

Abstract

The Community Service Faperta UNITA for the Odd Semester 2022/2023 is again being carried out in the Adian Koting District in the Faperta UNITA Assisted Village, namely Sibalanga Village, Adian Koting District, North Tapanuli. By collaborating with the Healthy Planet Indonesia Foundation (HEPI) and the Batangtoru Watershed Forum, Faperta UNITA routinely provides outreach on various matters related to nature, plant management and forest empowerment for communities around Tapanuli and also provides plant seeds to the community.

Sibalanga Village became the Foster Village of the UNITA Faculty of Agriculture by placing 5 (five) Field Work Practice students as well as 3 (three) final project research students in the village, it is hoped that with students in the village the community can be motivated to carry out organic-based farming activities and nurseries forest plants. Collaboration with the HEPI Foundation which was coordinated by drg. Hotlin Ompusunggu, Ce. He is committed to continuing to carry out activities that support sustainability in the development of the community around the Forest in Sibalanga Village, be it organic farming counseling and the provision of a dental clinic. Oral and dental health examination at the clinic which will later achieve the expectation of a healthy environment and healthy community.

Head of Sibalanga Village Ir. Jantinus Panggabean who coincides with the alumni of Sisingamangaraja XII Medan University welcomed this community service activity in increasing the enthusiasm of farmers, especially those in Sibalanga Village and it was a very big fortune for Sibalanga village to be selected as a fostered village from the UNITA Faculty of Agriculture and the HEPI Foundation he stated that he would continue to support activities like this.
