PERANAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENGATASI PERUNDUNGAN (BULLYING) PADA ANAK

Abstract

Parents have a very large role in preventing bullying in children, where parents act as intermediaries, caregivers, observers, disciplinarians, supervisors, encouragement and protectors. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in preventing bullying in children. And also the role of parents in increasing self-confidence in children. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. research results 1) the role of parents in preventing bullying in children is by parenting, approach to children, good communication with children and also good communication with schools. 2) The role of parents in increasing self-confidence in children is to guide children at home and also in the surrounding environment. Parents give a sense of example for children, apply methods of advice to children and parents educate by doing habituation and training at home and giving children a sense of responsibility.
