WASPADA TINDAKAN BULLYING DAN DAMPAK TERHADAP DUNIA PENDIDIKAN

Abstract

Bullying behavior is an act that harms other people. In Indonesia itself, cases of bullying are increasingly common. Bullying itself etymologically comes from the word bully which means bullying other parties who are weaker in strength and power. According to some experts who have concluded, the definition of bullying is all kinds of actions that aim to hurt other people both physically and mentally. There are several types of bullying, namely physical bullying, bullying that involves physical contact such as hitting. Verbal bullying, bullying that uses words that are inappropriate to say to the victim. Social bullying, bullying that can result in the deterioration of the victim's reputation. And cyber bullying, namely bullying that utilizes technology to carry out acts of bullying. The impact of bullying on victims cannot be underestimated. Many victims of bullying feel less confident, don't want to face their surroundings, experience mental disorders and some even commit suicide. There are several efforts that can be made to overcome bullying. First, address bullying in a calm manner so that you are not easily provoked. Second, ask for help from authorities and can be trusted. Third, identify and report acts of bullying so that the perpetrators know that the actions they are taking should not be carried out.
